  • Christy Gressman (co-creator, executive producer) is Vice President and Executive Producer, Podcasts, at First Look Media, where she leads Topic Studios' podcast vertical — overseeing creative, production, and business strategy — and shares oversight of The Intercept podcasts with Editor-in-Chief Betsy Reed. She was formerly Partner and Executive Producer at the fiction-focused network Night Vale Presents, also a PRX partner, where she oversaw network-wide development, production, and distribution. She serves as producer, executive producer and/or co-creator of a number of original podcasts, including the critically-acclaimed fiction shows The Orbiting Human Circus and Adventures in New America.

  • Grant Stewart (co-creator, writer, director) previously worked as the editor of I Only Listen to The Mountain Goats, Adventures in New America, Start With This, and other shows for Night Vale Presents, and was also the lead editor of WNYC's The Orbiting Human Circus. Based in Brooklyn, he subsists on carbs and enjoys hunting down ‘70s Brazilian and Japanese records.

  • Russell Sperberg (producer, assistant director) is an actor / producer currently based in Los Angeles. He's helped to produce podcasts such as Milky Way Underground, Sleep With Me, and The Orbiting Human Circus. As an actor, he's performed and helped develop work at Actors Theatre of Louisville, En Garde Arts, New Dramatists, The Bushwick Starr, and the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, among others.   • Stephen Borden (interactive designer and developer) is currently a developer at Cartoon Network Digital, and in the past has worked on NIH funded science education games.

  • John Conroy (story editor) is a writer and marketer. During a nearly 15-year career (well, 26, if you count falling in love with writing in 5th grade), he has honed the ability to merge creative storytelling with strategic vision and project leadership abilities. John has led marketing and communications efforts at organizations in academia, management consulting, and PR / advertising. Based in the Steel City of Pittsburgh, he lives with his wife, two-year-old son, and three cats.   • Michael Hammond (sound designer, editor, mixer) is an audio engineer, producer, and composer living in Brooklyn, NY. As the in-house Mixing Engineer for New Amsterdam Records, Michael has worked on the music of some of today’s most groundbreaking musicians and composers. In live settings, Michael has provided electronics and sound design for the San Francisco Symphony, the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, Residentie Orkest, Signal Ensemble, So Percussion and many others. Most recently, Michael mixed over four hours of music (composed by Judd Greenstein) for a new children’s science fiction/fantasy audiobook Epoca: The Tree of Ecrof, created by the late basketball legend Kobe Bryant and voiced by actress Phylicia Rashad.   • Jeff Tobias (composer) is a multi-instrumentalist and composer based in Queens, New York. Since 2003, he has contributed to over eighty physically released recordings, and toured regularly throughout North America and Europe. He has composed and/or performed music for theater, site-specific installations, and podcasts including Radiolab and The Habitat (Gimlet). His primary creative activity is contributing alto saxophone and keyboards to the punk/psych/jazz group Sunwatchers, releasing music on beloved record labels including Trouble in Mind, Castle Face, and Amish. He has performed and recorded with artists including Modern Nature, Katie Eastburn, David First, Mega Bog, Arthur Doyle, Eugene Chadbourne, Matana Roberts, and many others. He holds a degree in music composition from Brooklyn College, where he studied composition with Tania Leon, Jason Eckardt, Doug Geers and Doug Cohen.

  • Alex Turbyfield (interactive artist) is an Austin, TX based technical artist, independent game developer, scribbler, dabbler, and general wearer of many hats. He also usually has a dog by his side looking for snacks. Alex is a big fan of augmented and virtual reality, and loves playing in those mediums.
